Plan your event  ·  Meals + dining

Nobody has to cook

Every meal of your stay is arranged, prepared, and put in front of your group. Your leaders spend the weekend leading instead of planning menus, making a grocery run, and washing up after ninety people.

Meals are in your rate

The part you don’t plan

We arrange every meal of your stay and it is ready when your group is. What that looks like flexes with your schedule: a sit-down meal in the dining hall when there is time to sit down, and something your group can carry when there isn’t.

Two hundred and fifty people eat at once in the dining hall, and larger groups go in more than one wave. Either way, the planning is ours.

We work the details out with you before you arrive. How many people, when you want to eat, and anything we need to plan around.

When you eat

Arrival day
Dinner
Check-in is 1 p.m., so your first meal with us is the evening one. Plan your own lunch on the road.
Every full day
Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner
Three meals. Times are set with you ahead of your stay so they fit your schedule rather than ours.
Departure day
Breakfast
Check-out is 10 a.m. Your group eats before they load up and leave.

That works out to five meals on a two-night stay and seventeen on a six-night week. The count falls out of your dates, so you never have to decide how many meals to buy.

The things people ask us

Dietary needs

Vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies. We can plan around them, and the one thing we ask is that you tell us during booking rather than on arrival. That is when we can actually do something about it.

Coffee

Available all day, not just at meals. Sessions run long and people wander in and out of the dining hall between them, and the coffee is there when they do.

Your headcount

We will ask for a final number ahead of your stay so we are feeding the group that actually shows up. Getting it close matters more than getting it early.

Two things to know

Groups don’t cook here

The kitchen is not available for a visiting group to use. That is a change from an arrangement some returning groups will remember, and it is worth saying plainly rather than letting anyone plan around a kitchen they will not have.

What you get instead is that nobody on your team is assigned to food for the whole weekend.

Food stays in the dining hall

No food or drink in the cabins or the dorms. That is in the rental agreement, and it is there for the reason you would guess: shared lodging in the woods stays a lot more pleasant without food in it.

The dining hall and the other approved gathering spaces are yours for as long as you want them, including the deck and the lounge at the fireplace end.

Bring your group

Tell us your dates and roughly how many people you are bringing. We will come back with a number that already has every meal in it.
